Job Description
We are seeking a Provider Credentialing Specialist to manage provider enrollment and credentialing activities. You will verify licensure and certifications, perform primary source verifications, submit and follow up on credentialing applications (CAQH, Medicare/Medicaid, and commercial payers), maintain accurate credentialing files, and ensure compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, proficiency with credentialing systems and Microsoft Excel, and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 1–3 years of healthcare credentialing or provider enrollment experience are preferred.
