Job Description
Datamatics Technologies seeks a seasoned Linux System Administrator to remotely manage and harden enterprise servers. This full-time role requires 7–8 years of Linux/Unix administration experience (RHEL, Ubuntu, Solaris, AIX).
- Install, maintain, and apply updates and kernel upgrades; monitor performance and security.
- Automate tasks with Bash/Korn/Perl and Ansible; manage configurations with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Troubleshoot OS and hardware issues; configure storage (LVM/NFS), virtualization, backups, and recovery.
- Maintain accounts, ensure compliance, and operate monitoring tools (Nagios, Grafana, Prometheus).
Required: strong shell scripting, automation, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls). Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
